Child Safety

  • Child Safety is one of the most important factors when choosing window coverings.

  • Most blind types are offered with various operating systems, to ensure they can be operated in a safe manner to protect your children and pets. Look for the child-safe logo to easily identify Turnils products that are suited to a child friendly environment and check with your blind manufacturer and installer about the child safety options available for the window covering products you have selected. Window coverings must be installed and operated correctly, for optimal child safety.

  • On 1 January 2015 ACCC labelling requirements for internal window coverings which apply to installers, came into effect.
