Using EMS for Home Muscle Recovery After Workouts

For those using EMS after training, how effective has it been for reducing soreness and speeding recovery? Do you use it immediately post-workout or the next day? I’d love to hear realistic expectations versus marketing claims.

I’ve used EMS after training mainly to ease muscle soreness, and while it doesn’t work miracles, it does help speed recovery a bit. I usually apply it the same day, right after workouts, and sometimes the next morning if stiffness lingers. Marketing often oversells the benefits, but realistically, it’s more of a supportive tool than a cure-all. Proper hydration, stretching, and rest still matter most. I found mid-range devices effective enough, and resources like tensmachines offered useful guidance on maximizing pad placement and session timing.
